Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using HoopsHeroStats (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 15 years of age, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not intended for children under 13.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account, and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to the Service, including profile photos, statistics, biometric data, and match records. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You represent that you have all necessary rights and consents to upload any content that identifies a person other than yourself — for example, a player whose statistics you record as a coach.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization
  • Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or that infringes the rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, to other users’ accounts, or to our infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise interfere with the Service
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by us

6. Subscription and Payments

Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation policies are presented at the point of purchase. All payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, and their terms apply in addition to these Terms.

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or to the Service. You may terminate your account at any time from the settings screen. Upon termination, your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will be preserved indefinitely. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we publish a new version, we will require you to review and re-accept it before continuing to use the Service. The version and the date of your acceptance are recorded with your account.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in the competent courts of France, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law applicable in your country of residence.
